Chain Lane Shopping Precinct Prospers

High demand for units within St Helens’ Chain Lane shopping precinct is a further sign that the green shoots of recovery are emerging as a spate of recent lettings has established the precinct as a diverse shopping destination.

Newcomers to the precinct include the reputable fishing tackle shop; Leigh Tackle & Bait, a sports & fashion retailer, Loggerheads Pharmacy and DMZ Games – similar to the popular Games Workshop. They will join existing occupiers Co-op, Galloways Bakers, Forbuoys Newsagent, Golden Brown Tanning Salon and Home Carpets, among others, creating a well represented local shopping hub. Tom Owen, Head of Property Marketing for the Landlord, Morston Assets, said, “We are really pleased that Chain Lane has developed into an energetic, lively shopping precinct”  He continued, “Importantly, we now have a varied mix of tenants which will attract a good cross-section of customers, benefitting both occupiers of the parade and the local economy.”
